I'm sure it's meant well, but rather than: "Don't just leech. Buy the novel and manga to support the author!"
Try: "Please consider buying the novel and manga to support the author."
Can't speak for other languages, but English is weird like that. Both say a similar thing, but the original statement implies everyone is a "filthy parasite" and can afford to buy the product... but don't want to.
...Which can be true in a number of cases, but product availability and money are not the same for everyone consuming this content.
This is how I see things can be implied though. I notice this when dealing with people who typically learned English as their non-primary language, that they write/type English "rudely".
Thank you for the translations and Happy New Year. I don't mean to criticize the translation work, which seems fine. Just a note about perceived rudeness in English. Nothing else.
