That's a good theory. Only issue is Ricky didn't like the girl getting close to him, but a jealous/possessive mom is possible. Just doesn't quite match with the image of the mom we saw, but her personality/priorities could easily change a bit after getting reincarnated as a bear.

Side note, I wonder where Risky gets money from?
