Not sure if it's true but, I believe that schools in Japan put a bouquet/vase of flower on student's table that were died or committed suicide.
I also think this may be the case. There was this fanfic I read that was hella confusing. The characters were freaking over a flower left on someone's desk as if it was a bomb threat. They were thinking it was a declaration of war/intense rivalry (as per some Japanese culture) when in actuality it was a declaration of friendship.

What does that girl have against flowers?
Its supposed to be certain types of flowers that are given at funerals have a meaning of wishing death on someone when used by bullies. The blonde girl just assumed those flowers were supposed to be for bullying because she's dumb for the joke
