I would have expected the final chapter to be Kumika finally enjoying a meal with her family on earth and then introducing them to her friends, but that’s just me.

really enjoyable stuff. I really recommend this one.
I started reading this back on 2017, and I can't even tell you guys the constant fear of the scanlators dropping this series. So even if this was a short and maybe a somewhat abrupt ending, I'm really glad that I could see the end of this series.

Thank you very much Helvetica Scans for translating this work and sharing it with us.

I’m sure this could’ve gotten a longer amount of chapters before it ends, but if the author wills it to end then I will also end my bickering around.

Thank you scanlators for gving us this wonderful manga.

It's okay, too bad the author just did filler for 10 chapters leading into a rushed ending. Would have been good if he actually continued the story so he could do a proper ending.

Good, then a lot of slow stuff. Her family stuff is completely unresolved,
they're in poverty while she's having the time of her life. And they're happy for her which is great but sucks that they are still living in poor conditions despite the amount of time the author spent explaining the gap between each planet. Figured they'd eventually be brought over like a lot of immigrant families do. Was looking forward to that too. Oh well.
Ending feels half-assed too. Coulda covered more.
pretend life-threatening accident was a real half-assed way to move the plot forward too
smh

Edit: I used spoiler tags twice but apparently that's a problem here. Sorry I can't properly explain the mixed bag you'll get with this manga.

Well, it's not the hardest an ending has blue-balled me, but it's certainly up there.

I'm not going to rate this, because I want to put a 2 on the ending and maybe a 9 on the rest of the chapters.

Just going to say, an alien that only needs to breath for sustenance wouldn't need a mouth. Just saying not every alien needs to look humanoid.

@timetravelingcat

Wouldn't need a mouth =/= Wouldn't have a mouth
I imagine one or more of the following is true
A) It's vestigial
B) It's still used for communication
C) They still eat non-airborne food when it is available for the additional nutrition (this definitely seems to be the case - hence why eating helped her when she was sick)

Tons of species possess features that aren't strictly necessary for their survival, either because they may provide some supplemental/situational benefit or because there was no particular reason to lose the feature (vestigial).

And disregarding all of this, just google filter feeders and see how many have mouths. You can't really say for certain what a hypothetical human-sized microbe filter feeder would look like without knowing the particulars of their eating mechanics or their evolutionary lineage.

And yes aliens don't HAVE to look humanoid. It also might be interesting to see more interpretations where they aren't. But this is essentially just a monster girl manga, just accept it for what it is.

That moment when you'll never be able to have a xenomorph otaku girlfriend...

What's the point of living anymore~!

But seriously, this was really fun and adorable. Much kudos to the author.
