Edit: Slight clarification. My only critism is that now she can basically and lazily get out of any situation by just "unlocking her power". its like the shigaraki problem, where the author can pull a quirk ability up his ass and get away with it "sorry man, I got this quirk 5 months ago that can specifically counter your quirk" . Or its the heian era sukuna problem again. Before this, she is atleast limited and bound by the system (which is really cool). Now its just "yeah she can do that now".

Tbh, this is one of the few times I prefer the Webnovel version over the Light novel version (that the manga follows.)

In the web novel, there is more time passed before they had this confrontation with Wrath. Kumoko got her full power back, and Sophia turned teen, more rebellious than ever. And Kumo-chan left all the fight to the vampling.

Wouldn't change anything. There's such a thing as "terminal velocity", which 5KM is more than enough to reach.
