I still don't understand why you die when SP reaches 0. You should just faint.

@Solonit, because fully expending SP is the same as overexerting, It's not just getting tired, that happens way before your SP ends. Also eating food gives you energy beyond the limits so it's almost impossible to run out of SP unless you really push it.
In the novels Kumoko had a skill that allowed her save a nearly infinite amount of SP by eating, so on most fights at her level, she'd barely even touch her reserves. SHe had nearly infinite stamina, and would only really expend it on extremely hard fights, that's when her reserves dwindled and her SP would be consumed.

Should have had Ariel show up and plank against her so the death was sort of plot relevant.

Can't unsee the candy dragons from the anime trailer when I see the earth dragons now. RIP.

@BloodySorcerer Wasn't it the demon king who has the infinite SP skill? Kumoko could only store upto double max by overeating while the demon king was like all 9999 even past the SP bar, lol.

@solonit When her SP reaches 0 one of her skills causes the remaining drain to be taken from her HP instead.

@solonit as others have said, when you run out of SP you die. You can visualize SP as the total energy that you have, when it's 0 you have literally no energy left to use, so no heart pumping, no breathing, nothing. You'd faint before your SP ran out, and get tired way before that
