Manga based on LN, yes. All official manga's are based on printed versions in general which are sometimes being rewritten by author, like this one.
I just get it that you asked about "divine beast part"... Yeah it happens later. Manga now in the middle of 4th volume, and that part happens in the 5th.

@isekailover she's not what I hoped for, even in the LN art, both disappointed me. Shun and his group were decent though. I liked their official art, as for Wrath I though he was smaller than I imagined(Wrath already showed up in the manga, in that chapter with the Demon War Council).
