I don't remember if she actually said it before D did in the novel. But I do remember that Shiro wasn't really that surprised and she kind of suspected D was the real Wakaba all along. She just didn't know what she herself was.
There are many hints, some which she verbally noted, some which she didn't, but noticed anyway. Right in the beginning of the whole series she already speculates if she's really a spider with someone else's memories. Then there are various details, like noting that reincarnators have their original name when Appraised, but she is just called a nameless spider.
There are fewer hints that D is the real Wakaba, but it's not a hard conclusion to draw once Shiro realizes she isn't the real one. D is still in Japan, knows all the classmates and takes at least some interest in them. If I'm remembering correctly, Shiro also reasons based on what she knows about souls that she probably has a bit of D's soul in her, which would also imply D is the real Wakaba, since she initially believed she was.

Hold up, before yalls read I forgot to add a spoiler and I'm too lazy to go back and change it:
In a previous chapter the dragon guy explained to Shiro that the old demon lord and hero tried to nuke D who was on Earth at the time. This got Shiro's classmates as collateral but D didn't die, D sent a modified copy of her memories in place of herself so that the Demon Lord and Hero would think that they got her.
You know what? I'm curious about which chapter it was, let me go bac . . .

Im not sure how to reply that other than to say they're in the manga, except for things I said I drew from the novel? I deliberately used details that aren't novel-exclusive otherwise.
You can re-read it for yourself if it matters, I'm not dredging up that many details from dozens of chapters. I already stated one of them is in the first chapter...

Excuse me, but you're the one coming here insisting that it's different. If this was a court of law, you'd be the one here who has to prove I'm wrong, you're the one making the claim/charges. And you've offered no evidence on your end either, for that matter.
And it's also not a court of law, so get off your ass and go find the chapters, it's possible. Or google the wiki. Or google some forum material, this stuff has been around for years and I'm sure it's been talked about. Or read the novel.
