So....Now I'm left with one question I know I can't answer myself...

For those of you with really long hair, how difficult would it be to get it back into a hood like that, without it being all over the place?

Guedla my beloved and Nerissa the goat, thank you for the translation!

Yep, as predicted, they’ll meet in the final match. This dark magician guy has a great design, fully covered. Waiting for the moment Lythe breaks through the armor and we get a surprise as to what is inside.

Bloody hard.

With hair as long as his — even longer than mine, since mine only reaches slightly below my shoulder blades — he’d have to reach under his coat to smooth it out from the inside. But looking at how tight the coat — and that belt — sits on 'im, the only option here is to literally shove the hair inside, which is bound to damage it if worn like that for too long.

The ideal would be just to take off the coat and put it on again, with your hair beneath it.

MC needs to learn to play it casual, approach his tournament opponent in a friendly manner and give them a fist bump of encouragement before the match starts.
Would resolve a lot of things asap and get him the powers he desperately needs to continue accumulating.

But no, we need to have an MC who doesn't think too far ahead and who is relatively straightforward with his approaches.

Well. At least we know the author is in on it since we know from the gag panels that the idea has come up repeatedly of just casually fist bumping people.

It depends. My hair is about the same length as Julius'. If you were to put it up in a bun or ponytail it wouldn't be that difficult. If you were to try to just shove it in a robe and hood like that, it would be a pain in the ass. Honestly, it would be far easier to just take off the robe and put it back on if you wanted your hair neatly tucked away. Also, keep in mind that this is fiction, and the amount of volume in Julius' hair is pretty unrealistic.

Thanks both. I'm glad to know that me and my often buzzed scalp aren't crazy in thinking that he shouldn't be able to just zoop his up back up the way he does.

I get that it's for the plot, but what kind of logic is that? Who tf cares about getting disqualified from the tournament? Julius just brazenly tried to kill his opponent when she couldn't fight back despite being warned not to by the central knight captain, such unsportsmanlike behavior immediately disqualify him and shouldn't he be arrested? You'd think that Lythe would pull rank as the princess' personal guard to arrest him, tournament be damned

as always, straight up attempted murder in the arena is completely ignored and the traitor is just let go and do as he please, the female knight really should have just taken his head with no warning on the spot, its clear there would have been zero consequence for doing so.

Even if you win or lose your match we will still fight no matter what
Didn't you already kick Lythe's ass with one shot back in chapter 22? Am I hallucinating?
