Yeah, choosing your future if you don't have a specific dream is hard. But I don't find going to Uni to work well to see what you like. It's just more school, and you've already done that. And in quite a lot of jobs, what you learn is at best 20% relevant. The exceptions are the more specialised ones, like medicine or law.

If they didn't the some kids would be looking at the diploma in their hand wondering "Now what am I going to do?" While that still can happen at least they were prompted to think about it a little. It's a good reason to update it year too.
