What on Earth is that "run from her invitation" even supposed to be? I wish the author had above room temperature IQ so that this story would make more sense. Dude is on his way to govern his own destitute village, so why does he need to "run from her invitation"? He can just tell her he can't do it because he has a permanent job to do elsewhere. Even the saint, who seems to posses about the same level of intelligence as the author, would understand the MC can't simply abandon his duty to join some stupid party. After all, the saint, despite being a blistering idiot, seems to take her duty as a saint exceedingly seriously. So, similarly she would understand Yuri has a duty he needs to take seriously and thus isn't available to join her party.
What the heck is so complicated about it? The deranged publisher can afford to split a single chapter into four for maximum profit but can't afford to hire an editor that would give a single piece of advice to the author. So typical and so sad.
