This manga is really great.
Highly recommended. If you like horror manga then give this a try.
But unfortunately, it seems Dark Horse only licensed until vol 14.
It still ongoing right now with 23 volumes in total.

The story is good. This is touching and also terrifying.
This is how horror supposed to be, it doesn't matter if there is gore but as long as it has story.
No throwing here and there, endless and plotless, which makes it a lot of holes like most of horror manga nowadays.
They are not just regular students who gather and do strange activities, their journey is piqued my interest.

There are also comedy, yes. I love how the author makes the conversation flow very well and naturally.

Really wish dh would continue with this, first they paused for 4.9 years or so without any word on any continuation following vol 14, then announced omnibus 5 back in anime expo 2019 for a march 2020 release (kinda dumb since it isn't a new title where the requisite 6-8 months is necessary), instead of like a late fall early winter release (nov-feb) which would've been great actually, hell I even pre-ordered it way back as soon as things from another world posted the listing back in late dec, iirc. Then as the world slowly turned to a slow cooked potato, the listing moved to june, then quietly taken off in late june or sometime over the summer (got a notification that my pre-order has been canceled).
Yet the amazon page is still active with a tentative release date of December 28, 2021, so really hoping its coming back in 2021 but not that late into the year, maybe a summer release with book 6/7 taking that dates place instead.

I wounder why they still selling shit when it take ages to release new volumes and they are usualy much more expensive than any other publisher from America. Especially for me from Europe.

@predatornoa Yeah they're not great at continuing releases but Kurosagi is a niche kind of series which is why it was dropped in the first place and lots of publishers had to push back release dates due to covid

Thanks for continuing this series guys, I was going to continue reading this series with the omnibuses but like @biggulp said, they stopped. I still collected omnibuses 1-4 (except 2, cause finding it is next to impossible, and if you do, it runs you 200 to 300 dollars) but was saddened when volume 5 was delayed. I hope you guys continue, and I hope Dark Horse continues too, cause I still wanna support this author.

I can't thank you enough for continuing this- the trouble I heard the editor/translator had at Dark Horse to keep this series going after the debacle of the 'Syfy' series vanishing into thin air, I assumed we'd never see the rest of series 1, let alone series 2 translated. I cannot thank you enough!

Seems like dark horse has moved omnibus 5's date to dec 2022, though that could still just be a placeholder date for the time being, but I'm not hopeful that they will continue with this and hope that they can transfer the license to a more renowned publisher that'll do justice to this series

Thank you so much for picking this up! I bought & read the published volumes and I can't express how sad I was that it was dropped by DH. The story is amazing. I googled for scans for an hour or so until I found your recent work here. There were multiple people in message boards from months/years ago saying stuff like "groups rarely pick up a series that's been published 14 vols already" and "it has been a failure in the US" so I was ready to give up, but then I decided to google the original Japanese title (latin alphabet) and found this and exploded with surprised joy.

I read all of vol 15 now and will wait for 16 until you wrap it up because I know that mid-volume cliffhangers can be hell with this manga. But vol 15 has been amazing work so far. I even made an account here to specifically thank you guys for working on this because I am so endlessly grateful. You're the real heroes in this story. 💖
