Again with the small Manga page and giant credits page. It's really a pain for mobile users like this. Again I thank you for picking it up but please can you put credits on page 2 or at least make the actual Manga itself bigger.

Yes, this totally motivates me to give up the money I work to earn for someone who does something like this with their time.

With this manga I really recommend having 5 pages (Chapters) together and release them as a single ... like 105-110 and then 111-116 because ... Is just too little going on each time

What the fuck is even happening anymore? Is this some new meme I didn't get a memo about?

Squiggles is truly the translator hero we deserve, not the one we need. The manga she translates are always fine, but the real excitement comes from the meta-narrative of one uninhibited 2008-era rawr XD weeb forcing a bunch of cold and cynical late-2010's readers into acknowledging that a living, breathing human being was on the other side of this project that they pay no money for. The only way it could get better is if the Japanese mangakas themselves added really obnoxious, unavoidable and unrelated post-scripts right onto the final page of their one-shots. 20th century postmodernist writers are rolling in their grave, having it never occurred to them that the most guaranteed way to get an honest reaction out of readers is to just throw unabashed, unrestrained and raw human emotion with the naivete of a child onto the page that automatically invokes secondhand-cringe in anyone who gazes upon it. This entire thread belongs in a museum. I haven't felt this human in years.

I too like defending low effort under the guise of doing it for free when plenty of other people do the same but actually put in effort while also doing it for free.

I'm less surprised about the obnoxious credits page than I am about the fact that it claims that Squiggles has an editor. Anyone who has experienced one of their translations before knows this is obviously not true.

Nice taste in games. I can understand why you'd ask for people's money in exchange of translating a bunch of stuff so directly on such an occasion.
Also no, I'm not saying it ironically or sarcastically. Even if the credit pages are a bit weird at times, I hadn't really realized just how much stuff they translate, and probably while keeping another job (because I don't think scanlating for donations actually makes enough money to live off from).

@ultraleaf Squiggles does have a job. In fact, she usually BUY the raws for a high quality scan. She already bought the volume 2, which will start around Ch.120. Until then, we're using the low quality pages found in the internet. If you're so displeased by reading an originally japanese manga in english for free, you're free to go.

@krasnovian7 You said it yourself, "effort". We're just asking for some support, because Squiggles spends money buying the volumes, and every scanlation spends a good amount of time translating and editing the chapters. This may not exactly be the case for single page chapters, but even so, we translate other series.

If you have something to say, make constructive criticism, like @Serenata did, although in this case we'll conflict with one of the rules (3.2.1 Do not combine several chapters into a single release.)

@Lyohzeed I understand asking for support/donations, but this chapter is impossible to read without at least 200% zoom. What's wrong with making the credits/donation page a 2nd page? If it's such a burden to translate this manga (which consists of one-page chapters) to the point where you can't do it without support....then....don't? It's not like these issues (paying for raws, time consumption) aren't faced by every other scanlation group. Having worked with 2 or 3 groups (as a proofreader, cleaner, redrawer, EN -> ES translator), I'm very aware of the time commitment involved in it. I still don't think it merits having a page mangled like this.

And if the time commitment isn't an issue with this series but rather with the other series your group works on, those other series are where your donation requests page belongs.
