Hibas surname feels like it hints toward Hokkaido possibly being where they are originally from, so we could be dealing with Ainu mythology/folklore. This makes me wonder if Naoto has some kind of ties to Horkew-Kamuy. He is certainly acting like a wolf in this chapter, combined with his teeth and his infatuation with Luna (Tsuki, 月, moon)..... This could just be me reaching at this point though.

Could be possible that he's just related to some Okami too though (wolf, not great god). I forgot the name of the wolf yokai that will pounce on you if you trip and fall, but will otherwise follow and protect you.

I'm also kind of curious at this point if Luna is her actual name, or if it's a nickname/shortened name, like how she calls Naoto Nao-kun.
