I honestly don't care either way, but the mystery of what is happening is just...dragging too much at this point and there is no need for that. Just let the audience know what is up so we can progress in the story already. Whatever she is doing is whatever.

Hol up, they got a point. Waiting for a "is it NTR?" reveal is a completely different beast compared to "will the MC and FMC become a couple". Regular people would be fed up by around chapter 3, while some are still around due to sunk cost fallacy. It takes a special breed of trash connoisseur to fully appreciate "the wait" for this type of manga.

Sure, it's just chapter 8, of a bi-weekly manga, with chapters split in two, effectively making it a monthly, that had two breaks in-between. Considering the manga started publishing May last year, that's 10 months since the manga started, we could've been at chapter 10 right now if it weren't for the breaks.

If all goes according to schedule, raw chapter 9.2 should officially release tomorrow, 11am JST.

But it’s the central question of the manga? Like it’s ABOUT “Is this chick fucking dudes or is it all just a misunderstanding”. If you were reading a manga about finding out who killed someone, you wouldn’t expect the case to be solved in chapter 8 (unless it was like, real short)

I do understand the frustration of time, but also remember that manga are written not just to be read on release, but also to be read after, and while it would be satisfying to a reading in real time to get the answers sooner because they’re waiting, it would make the story unsatisfying for someone who can read everything at once. It’s a unique issue with the format and something that’s not easy to balance.

My point exactly, waiting for “Is this chick fucking dudes or is it all just a misunderstanding” is not the same compared to the usual wait for the usual stuff, it eats at the readers in a different way. NTR enjoyers, masochists, special trash connoisseurs can handle the wait well, more so than regular readers, especially if they're reading in real time as it releases.

A story's initial hook shouldn't take this long to resolve, otherwise it would frustrate readers to no end, and typically runs its course by the end of the first volume. The bulk of a story shouldn't be about the hook. In this case, “Is this chick fucking dudes or is it all just a misunderstanding”, shouldn't take more priority compared to the characters' progression. This is how one ends up with a collection of short works, instead of long multi-arc epics.

Anyone reading this manga here, at this point in time, are more or less reading as it releases. I doubt you'd find someone, like mrclamp for example, complaining if they're able to read in bulk from start to finish (from question to answer). It's "not having the answer" that's frustrating, the wait just makes it worse.
