Long spoiler = Going right into ice cream job, the last bite falls unto MC's hand but Luna still wants to slurp it up anyway. After a panel that would not be out of place in an eromanga, a sudden heavy downpour rained down on the two, and they rush back home. Both wet, MC suggests Luna take the bath first, but the lights suddenly went out. Luna panics, and a sudden lighting strike nearby startles her unto the MC's arms, and MC somehow manifests his inner Yuuki Rito and gets on top of her. Panel closes up on what may or may not be a hickey just below Luna's right collar bone. Chapter ends with the MC, fueled by his childish jealousy, goes and defies romcom protagonist behaviour, by going down to either overwrite the hickey, or take a bite.

Yeah, just glanced through this. I might give it another chapter before I just put this on the back burner until there's more chapters translated instead of getting annoyed with "Next time on Edging with Atsushi!!".

Interestingly enough, I'm wondering if Hibas surname is a hint that the childhood home town is in Hokkaido and all of the characters are originally from there. Since her surname is the same as the Ishikari area/river in Hokkaido, it's hard to not draw the conclusion that she's at least from there anyway.

If that's the case, if this series is actually dealing with supernatural elements, it's possible that we're dealing with Kamuy (Kamui?) rather than Yokai if it's using Ainu mythology instead of Japanese.

This might be the case too, since from what I've seen, Atsushi is from Hokkaido as well.

Gonna plant my theory here before I continue. Hiba is the "boy" he saw Luna with as a kid. Flashbacks show her with long hair, and masculine clothing sense. But I think in the scene where he saw them kissing, she cut it short and he never saw Hiba after that as a kid.
