Except, I forget what chapter it was, the author stated that Kogahara was/has fallen for Sunao without Lemon inside, so he genuinely won her over. This confession only confuses her further; she might try to deny her feelings outright, might go for Lemon, might test if she has any feelings for Sunao at all, but I believe all this does is makes Lemon and Sunao guaranteed due to a horrible misplay on his part.

Another thing that is curious is, back in the beach movie arc, Natsumi felt confused when Sunao-piloted Lemon did the confession scene acting. I was kind of disappointed this didn't get a follow up back then, but this chapter bringing up those past moments, I wonder if there's hope to be more exploration of Sunao-Lemon's and Lemon-Sunao's interactions with Natsumi from before she learned and how she feels about it. I think that would be a very good turn for the story.

No clue what this story is about, but from reading the description... Rather than a transgender story, where one wishes to switch gender, this is a body horror story since Sunao never asked for this.

I mean, the description even says "To his horror, he wakes up in her body the next morning!" so I reckon I'm correct.

Okay, I skimmed the free chapters to see if it's interesting. Looks kinda interesting, but whether I actually read it depends on the reason for why Lemon lied about cheating on Sunao. Because if it's too retarded I'd rather save myself the headache.

Targeted bullying + big self esteem issues + being 14 years old.

She was being bullied due to being too nice(people thought she was being fake/egotistical/etc) and she didnt know how to handle the gossip/rumors/bullying and in a moment of weakness basically admitted the fake rumors were true due to thinking if they broke up the bullying would stop and they could just go back to being friends(even though she did enjoy being with him).

The first chapters showing of what happened was not how it actually went down exactly; Sunao having a nightmare-ized version of it. He knew it was probably fake right away but overtime he gaslight himself over years into thinking was true due to never knowing the truth.

Its "stupid" but they were literally 14 at the time. Neither knew how to do anything.

I just think this weird back and forth is, well, weird.

Seems a waste of time, they prob wont read it anyways so just let them know and let them move on. Or if telling them does make them read it then bam, now they can go read it.

I friggin knew some shit happened when I saw so many comments on here hahaha, weird enough in the app, there isn't that many, prolly not that popular there or people waiting to read it with the sunday release of Jump. At least author just gave himself the option to take Kogahara's out of the race. (it would be brutal if it uses that option... like why I can't enjoy Toradora's end hahaha)

Her feelings were brewing long before but that was when things started to come together.

For attentive readers not trying to make every interaction of two female characters something to coom to, the ground work was laid in the lead up to the date that was just the moment she became aware that she had caught feelings.

However, for Kogahara who is simply shy and inexperienced in love and not some sort of A-label, this is very likely to be used as a reason for not addressing her internal dilemma and trying to sort her feelings, and instead as a reason to stomp her feelings back into the box, stay out of lemon's way, and avoid the messy problem of how she feels.
You know, until she realizes it won't work and things boil to a crisis point.

After all the shit she put Sunao through, turning bi for Kogahara is the LEAST she could do to make it up for it.
(lets just go right ahead and put a nice, clear /s on that because I have a feeling that's probably someone's unironic position)

why did you have the obvious /s, don't you see we could have some funnies for the bait.

but srsly as Lyanhyrt mentions Sunao genuinely won her over, Lemon date was more that to wake her up that she can actually fall in love, it's not like she didn't like all the other moments she had with Sunao when it was himself. Sadly as FS710 say, this chapter just gave her the option to run from her feelings, as she is more scared for making Lemon sad than going out with Sunao as she doesn't realize she's already in love with Sunao.

Could you imagine if the author looped the entire thing back around to the start with Lemon stealing Kogahara away from Sunao, proving ch1 Sunao correct that she was, in the end, a witch?

And then the final line of dialogue is just Sunao walking away from the two of them saying "Hope You're Happy, Lemon". Or the transliterated JP version "Hope you're happy, Bitch"

I don't see it happening, but it'd be a hell of a move.
