Very chill and honestly mature chapter as well. Both of them not only acknowledging their feelings but more importantly their friendship. I’m still team Kogahara and this is just another chapter showing me why she’s the best. Willing to come forward and more importantly NOT hide and do things behind Lemons back. Welp .. it’s all up to Sunao now.

My only nitpick with this chapter is Koga just knowing they hung out .. somehow. Really wish we could’ve gotten Lemon having to be honest about hiding things from Koga.

Edit: She did actually put two and two together after talking to her friend I forgot.

I want to make a second part to my previous comment. I want you all to think back on what has changed for Lemon and how none of that is due to her initiative. It has always been everyone else who moves on before her while she tags along. Lemon needs to do something if she wants to change.

I don't remember them knowing this. I may have forgotten. I'm pretty sure the one that knows is Raika. Well, someone correct me if I am wrong. It's been a long journey...

What a FIRE chapter, loved this one a lot. Dunno if she'll win but Kogahara has grown so much. The art is relatively simple, but her expression lost a bit of naiveté in my opinion. Clear, assertive communication, she went IN there. I expected Lemon to deny it but she ended up committing as well instead of backing down. Has she been ENTIRELY honest? No, but that does make it somewhat different from the first time.

Somehow? How so? She pieced things together a while ago by what they talked about, the tote bag etc or am I misremembering this? It's true that Lemon does have an edge on her with her past though, she doesn't HAVE to say it, but this might've been a golden opportunity to be honest with that friend she admires a lot.

Kogahara has known Sunao and Lemon dated since around chapter 40, and I DO think Lemon has changed. The old her probably would have lied to Kogahara about her own feelings for Sunao, having just found out Koga was also in love with him, and then quietly distanced herself from them out of consideration. For me atleast, Lemon responding to Kogahara's confession in kind with "I guess we both love the same guy" was a distinct indication that she HAS changed.

I can’t say I agree with it but I respect this take. 🤝🏾 I saw it kinda simple .. she basically just got caught. Logically she couldn’t lie her way out of this even if she wanted to. End of the day if there’s no romantic feelings for him .. why not tell her? If you’re going as a friend there’s no reason to hide it at all. Even Koga is smart enough to put that together. Sure it can come off as her being selfless and thinking about Koga but even that can be argued both ways. Lemon is clearly someone who actively avoids conflicts and would rather step away than own up to it. It’s just in this moment there’s nowhere to run to. So her being truthful here felt inevitable more than anything else to me.
