I hope Fang ends up with all 3 girls, the author did say it was a harem after all.

Obviously the manga won't go there .... but what if. WHAT IF. She succeed in her goal and her feelings did fade away. She feels no romantic feelings to MC, not even in far future. And seeing her disinterest, Keisuke simply moves on. They keep their friendship, push each other to be more social and remove bad aspects of themselves and we go to a friendship ending. If they have romantic adventure, it would be another character, and Kusonoki and Keisuke would try to help each other up if need be. Pure friendship manga, and the romantic side is treated as side goal of growing up. I don't care much about the snake girl, even if there's a plot where Keisuke help her or something, Moe is fine I guess but Keisuke isn't really that interested.

Fanfiction aside, it was interesting to see Kusonoki try to question her feelings via AI, it's very much a thing now and it's not a SCI FI stuff, so manga integrating in the story is normal I guess. If there's any question, just ask AI, it's easy to do and may change the dynamics of kids/teens growing up. AI isn't perfect but you can spend time conversing with any topic and can give you a lot to think about.

I really thought they were going with the kusunoki friend route, so I really thought Otobe had a chance...

It's never so over fellas, but we must still keep on fighting! DO NO LET A SINGLE SETBACK STOP YOU! WE HAVE TO KEEP SUPPORTING, KEEP FIGHTING AND FIGHTING AND FIGHTING!!

I'm not saying I'm team Hebikawa, but I still wanna see her become honest with herself first. I honestly don't know who i want to win as I think each would make a good end.

Sorry not sorry, guys, but her trauma is still legit to me : she literally lost her two "best friends" (if you could call them that) back then without doing anything but being a little prettier than others.

Plus, remember : she might put on a flashy front but she's still that awkward shy girl she used to be, not some overconfident gyaru who thinks highly of herself.

So, yes, cut her some slack for not wanting to be called a tease/traitor once again.

She's still more honest than that darn snake hoe who's just doing it for the love of the game !

Say what !? Which ones !? Spill the spoiled tea, son !!
I didn't heard about such recent situations since the ending of 2.5 Girls !!

What do you mean, she's not being honest at all in this chapter. She's literally trying to bury her feelings because of that "trauma" you cite out of deference to others around her.

This is kind of highlighting the reason that Moe is a more sympathetic heroine: She ends up telling the truth to Kusonoki and generally furthering her whole vibe of being someone who is trying their best even with how hard they find it. It makes her a stronger protagonist because she seems to move the story forward more rather than simply responding to it.

So basically:

• Kusunoki likes Keisuke
• Keisuke likes Kusunoki

If these two confess to each other right now, we'll have a couple and the manga ends

But authors have to manufacture "conflicts" to prolong the stories, so we have Past Trauma, Otobe, and Hebikawa to stand in their way
The tried-and-true vanilla trope is for Kusunoki to overcome these three challenges and end up with Keisuke in the end

But for a unique twist:

• Kusunoki backs down and the other girl wins
• Keisuke has a change of heart, rejects Kusunoki somehow, stops friendzoning Otobe, or returns to his first crush, Hebikawa

What do you guys think?
