I likes this manga because it’s pretty wholesome, so if it decides to go horrible sugar daddy back story I have low doubts for the direction this goes.

Bruh, why does everyone hate Hebikawa so much? For what, saying hello to MC in the hallways during middle school and him becoming devastated that she wasn't the angel he one sidedly imagined her to be? She was just a fairly typical girl in the social rat race of middle school continuing on to high school. Almost everyone is a little bit two faced to create in- and out- groups in socialization. It's not like Hebikawa set out to antagonize him-- she didn't even remember him-- and his trauma is the result of his own narrowmindedness.

And it's not like Hebikawa's going to steal MC given the title of the manga unless the author is unfathomably based

Nah. Hebikawa probably is working as a model on the side.
But yeah, the author is trying to throw a bone towards her redemption arc or something.

Here it goes

The dude is her stepdad/mom boyfriend, she noticed the dude was into her and decided to play by encouraging it, she don't do anything with him, just lead him on for fun
About the reason she is the way she is, she was a fan of an idol when she was a kid, and wanted to be a perfect girl like the idol, but when she got into school other girls acted like a bitch with her, she had enough and started to act like a bitch back, things got better, but she got sad about not being able to be a nice girl like the idol, then she saw in the news that the idol she liked was fired for underage drinking, and she felt better knowing that the idol wasn't perfect either
Her interest in the main heroine is because the main heroine looks like what she wanted to be, a genuine nice girl, so she wants to see the main heroine "dark side"
thanks

Like I said before, the moment Hebikawa becomes a viable love interest or MC decides to like her again, the author has lost plot on what he's writing
