I get the joke, but to be overly serious, Kunitada doesn't like Utsumi's personality. Utsumi barely shows emotions, but goes out of his way to help people, just for the sake of helping them. Kunitada is the opposite: he both shows and reads emotions, but is using those skills (both the natural social skill and the supernatural mood reading skill) to try to minimise the amount of work he needs to do. So, if he does help someone, it's actually for selfish reasons.
