Sometimes you really can't do that and have to do the stuff you'd do normally.
Which is why easy and cheap access to masks is a good thing: sick people can just wear one and do their business without being akin to vermin. Alas, some people had to make a stink about masks for no reason at all and we had to say goodbye to one rare good thing.

Aye. One look at such people's face and you could tell they don't give a damn. Just like with the chief here.

Well, if nothing else, they now have one against him. Whenever he tries to order folks to some inconvenient drinking party, they can remind him of that one time when he ruined folk's Christmas time by deliberately infecting them. That will shut him up a couple of times in the future.
