Also, that's not the issue here at all. It's the total failure to communicate. Heck, I doubt MC would hesitate to help nerd girl out with the same problems herself, but the fact that she said "Please don't see this girl" and then she invited her over in secret thats the major issue.

Yeah, they'll have to talk it out but they'll be fine. They didn't actually settle the issue last chapter and that lead to this. Mashiro normally isn't the one making the oopsie, as that's our resident Scumbag's M.O, so this is a nice change.

I don't agree with people saying she's cheating. She's clearly not and never agreed not to mentor the Kouhai. She heard Makino out but disagreed with her, knowing how innocent the Kouhai is. Still not a great look mind you but compared to Makino, Mashiro rarely slips up so not a big deal. Makino should be upset though. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I'm once again glad this continued. It's still hilarious and doesn't feel like an unplanned continuation. Always a good time. I do wonder how much longer it's planned to go. It's still very popular.

No I don't think so. Her work complicates how she views situations like this and makes the context a bit unique. She also did not agree with Makino last chapter. She has her boundaries that she's already expressed. Here, she sees the Kouhai as an innocent who wants to join her profession and thought she'd give her guidance, as we saw.

I don't agree with it, but I view it as a difference in values that her and Makino will have to discuss. They never finished their discussion last chapter. They disagreed, left it at that and there's the issue. I think she'll have to apologize but I don't consider that cheating in this context. They have to define some things. Makino being upset is valid though! Also, part of this is heightened for the comedy.

I don't agree here. They discussed their boundaries but had disagreements that they never settled. They simply see things differently and will likely iron these things out. Beyond that we'll have to agree to disagree because I think explaining the point will take a longer discussion that I don't think this lighthearted manga really needs. It's fine if you feel that way though. I just don't see it the same. Their situation is not typical, and Mashiro has done more than enough to warrant the benefit of the doubt by this point.
