Kyoto Animation's President considers Demolishing 1rst Studio Building and creating a Memorial Park in its Place

In an Interview for news media Kyoto Animation's president, Hideaki Hatta , made a statement that after the deadly fire that happen on Thursday at Kyoto's Animation's 1rst building he is considering to have the building demolished and creating a public park in it's place with a monument.

He also mentions that the supporting messages from around the world are "becoming our emotional support."

This is really a big loss in the industry. This is not a case of petty fire and there are only 1-2 people who get burnt.

It's only beginning to sink in now. Kinda hard to fathom before, it was so out of the blue. It's all ambiguous not knowing names but regardless it's a tremendous loss. Crazy that so many died, I wonder if fire codes and such are as strict enough there, or if it really was inevitable from the arsonist's deliberate methods.
