i wonder what kind of magazine the "sunho" magazine nanami's holding is. and oh? kameyama is thinking about a cute plump little hoppe-chan. there's also a carton of lipton milk tea, but I wonder when and how that got popular. ive been wondering that for a while, actually, after seeing someone with a keychain on their bag that was a miniature lipton drink carton.
this is barely related, but to judge how much popularity/brand identity a product has in japan, i look at the official bandai gacha website to see what products have been turned into gacha miniature keychains. it's kind of a weird metric but i think it works because the products that are used in the miniature toy trend are stuff that a lot of people really like already. i checked after seeing the mini lipton carton keychain and there indeed was an entry for the gacha line it came from.
also i think "puku puku" could be simply translated as "puffy" instead.
