I thought she might look angelic but maybe I shouldn't talk to her...?
Bro, literally 5 seconds ago you said that the other children lacked wariness for you.

Kinda creepy still man. Saying you want an "angelic" presence so you want a kid slave. Why not hire a model or find some normal kid instead? Nope, has to be a slave. And from the looks of things, it's going to be a pair of slaves with the brother and sister.

Oh boy, here we go buying child slaves. I don't know who's more in denial about the morality of this situation: the MC or me

Someone already said it but yeah, pretty sure the wary child in the slave store is Rian's sibling, sold by they dead-beat father. Now, I'm guessing Rian will ask them to rescue his sister in exchange for allowing Tougo to make him a painting subject.
They might end up being new members of Tougo's family as well.

Welp, it was commissioned bro, I had one series to do, but bro commissioned this one for 5 chaps.
It would be great if someone would commission a series ;)

I guess he was talking about different forms and level of wariness.
The thief boy had the wariness of not trusting anyone.
The slave girl on the other hand seemed to have wariness of being around stranger.

Because finding slaves is more easier.
How would you hire a kid (or anyone) to model, in a situation were advertising and education isn't that high? While also having to worry about other stuff, including privacy and protection of information.

And it's not like modeling is seen as a profession in this kind-off societal setting.
I mean, if you see a lot of older paintings (before modeling was a profession), you would see that most of the female models in them were based on prostitutes (not talking about men, because usually common men didn't model unlike women).
