Wouldn't be surprised though if he pulls the "it's okay if you don't tell me, after all, we're just neighbors" card again, though. Guess we'll see what happens in the next few chapters!

Hated this chap sorry, author intentionally took steps back with the plot so they can mlik more of it, and the entire chapter ended up being pointless because even the single step up they had was reverted (the name calling)

Hmm... While expected, I still find myself heaving a sigh... I know it's a trope, I fully understand the rationale behind using it... But for fucks sake, he's 32... I'd love to see this story without a developmentally challenged adult. It's cute with JK/DK JC/DC JS/DS , even JD/DD... And this work is still quite enjoyable, it just pokes my "suspend disbelief" nerve a little when "grown" (ha.) adults are portrayed this way. It's not BAD, a little shaky logically... Just feels a little forced into the trope.

While I agree that the seeming backwards step is a bit annoying, it IS also true that they are the only ones who can call each other 'neighbor-san', so it's special to them. Plus, it makes them feel less awkward with each other.
