Makes sense. I the author was planning a longer conflict after getting found out, but 12 chapters is only just enough to tie loose ends.

i can totally picture them in old age, still calling each other neighbor-san when its just the two of them.

this was a really nice series. i know it was rushed at the end but i like when they wrap up without a major conflict sometimes. like its totally fine with me to have it end with them just being together rather than have an extra 20 chapters of "we're together but we cant see each other" arcs. ive read enough stories with one famous partner that that the forced separation arcs have gotten pretty stale.

Shame it ended. Felt like it was just getting to the meaty part of the story. I would have loved to see it done as TV Drama on TBS or Fuji. The concept of common guy w/famous actress reminded me of the TV Series "Boku to Star no 99 nichi" and another called "Star no Koi"
