Oh please. From the comments I've read in here from the past other chapters are people r making excuses for cheating. The author whole point is try to make everyone a villain in this manga but the problem is nanase isn't anywhere near a villain as the other characters. Being a bad girlfriend doesn't mean she is a villain. The only time yuni ever was actually honest with nanase is when she was getting groped by fuuko. Like the author intended yuni to be the most annoying character out of the bunch so for me most of this mess stems from yuni. Cuz the author yuni to be that way
There's a few people making excuses for each girl, but outside of that like I said; no one's really arguing anything you're saying here. Everyone here's a "Villain", Nanase's just the least 'villainous' and being a 'bad girlfriend', or a terrible or toxic partner in general, will absolutely make you a 'villain' to your partner and anyone who cares deeply for them.

By all means, Yuni
is the most annoying here; she isn't honest with anyone, not even herself, which is one of the main story conflicts. But saying most of the mess in the series stems from Yuni is different from Nanase's issues being mostly from her own nasty habits, something once again getting put on display this chapter.
Every time we see Nanase actually doing better with their relationship, she keeps tossing it out the window which has been frustrating lol.

Not sure if you mean that as a compliment or an insult....

Yuki was never normal. She interfered with Nanase's friendships in grade school, etc. She's a yandere that's supressed her REAL desires...
She was “normal” in the beginng, a rightfully concerned but jealous friend. Then the author said fuck it and amped it up to be a yandere weirdo so the cheating Mc isn’t the worst person here

Devious work by Iwami-sensei on those camera angles ♨️

Not gonna lie; it's strangely satisfying watching Fuuko assert dominance. I hope giving back the earring and calling it a day with Yuni is the start of her path to a genuine win.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the mess between Natsume and Yuki will look like, heh

Thanks for the translation :>
Almost positive Fuuko is headed right back to Yuni. I mean it's rather obvious this is there love story after all.

Imo Yuni was never the worst person here and I feel like if you thought Yuki was a normal concerned friend you read the wrong Manga. She openly said she new Nanase was gay and she constantly put herself in the position that belonged to someone's significant other. Taking advantage to how totally oblivious Nanase is to everyone other than herself.

Fuuko is a terrible person
Yuni is a horrible person
Yuki is just crazy
And Nanase is a narsasistic control freak having an emotional affair with her mentally unstable bestie, but I see how you might think she's the one that doesn't deserve called out.

So from what I see in this chapter and this whole manga. Nanase is the only normal person out of EVERYONE.
What is your definition of normal, because I've known alot of people and I have never known anyone with such double standards and easily dismissive attitude.

Yuki getting proverbially slapped in the face by Nanase like that has me tickled. To think that her devotion and "besties status" was that one-sided at the start when she was instrumental in fucking up Nanase's friendships in middle school makes me hope that Yuki's slide toward violent crashout is imminent.

I do think that this is as much a cry for help from Fuuko as anything, though I wouldn't be surprised if she herself didn't view it as such. Mashiro has fucked with her head for years; I suspect she's resigned herself to the revived toxicity of her senpai's affections once it was made clear by Yuni that Fuuko was cut off (blocking, the slap, etc).
It's telling that Yuni, who's always played that passive aggressive "woe is me" hand like with the secret "venting" socmed account, would simultaneously be mad at Fuuko for coming onto her and mad that she's not contacting Yuni and trying to make up. But I suspect this note and returned earring will be a wakeup call for her. She's already disillusioned with Nanase all over again, and in a way that feels more "sober" than the first time when the cheating with Fuuko began. I wager she was actually looking to confront Fuuko to some degree (in the very roundabout and passive aggressive manner that is Yuni Personified), but this is a hell of a wrench in her character arc spokes as she's trying to figure out what to do about it all.

But honestly I mostly just look forward to what happens when Yuni and Mashiro finally confront/meet one another. And who will have to save whom, from whom, when it happens.
Yeah the Yuki arch has me feeling some kind a way. It's nice to see Nanase is just blind to others and not simply indifferent to Yuni, but on the other had it's annoying to see the justification she had for treating Yuki so special is garbage. She didn't even know Yuki existed until they were on the team together and being friends became easy and then bestie came along when she reaffirmed Nanase's decision to selfishly give Yuni anything she told Nanase she needed.

Picking up from off my previous comment, I'm more confident now that Yuni will need to "save" Fuuko from this woman and that her and Fuuko are endgame. That tear and sending back the earring were rough; she's reaching out for help. For her part, Yuni still doesn't match with Nanase. It's not really a matter of being good girlfriends or not anymore. They're just different people and it doesn't feel genuine, especially on Yuni's part. A lot of effort needed.
The writer has pretty much confirmed end game at this point. All new promotional material is yuni and Fuuko and she even released them in matching wedding dresses, and it wasn't presented in a what if scenario but as promotional art for the main story.

With the Yuki element coming to a head at the same time it looks like it'll be a "who are you going to choose to save" situation with Fuuko likely winning out.
O I like this idea I thought it would strictly be a show down between Mashiro and Yuni with Nanase and Yuki playing out in the background, but it could be Yuni has to chose who to be there for, giving another dimension to the drama.

"Stop with the cheating"? Did she mean break up with natsume and go out with her fr, right?
No she absolutely meant leave me to sacrifice myself to keep you safe, go be happy with your girlfriend. Which is why Fuuko is the goddess that deserves a happy ending, or as happy as Yunincan make some one

Nanase defenders need to reread the manga lol, is she the least shitty character? Honestly? Yeah, I don't think anyone will  really argue against that, but that doesn't change the fact that Nanase is a negligent, selfish, insensitive girlfriend who again and again makes the worst decisions and never listen to Yuni even after she said she would become better

Does she deserve to be cheated on? No, but she's not the poor little victim cause she literally never gave what Yuni wanted/ needed even after she said she was gonna change, fact that she never changed proves that even if Yuni communicates Nanase will still be a negligent girlfriend

The reality is that if it was someone else instead of Yuni she would still have been a terrible girlfriend and would probably have been dumped long ago, only reason Yuni didn't dump her is because she's a mess

I might just have forgotten but I don't think the story told us why Nanase got together with Yuni to begin with when she pretty much only cares about the club, kinda curious cause what we get so far is that Nanase just likes the idea of having a girlfriend rather than actually really having one with how she's so negligent and only think of the club

It's kinda funny how this chapter and next will possible show Nanase is even more negligent, selfish and insensitive than we expected depending on what we get from Yuki from here
I would argue against Nanase being the least shiny person
In fact I think she's the worst. From forgetting there anniversary, emotional affairs, changing the rules of the relationship with out discussing it, manipulating, narsasistic, not to mention her habit of rewriting history like in this chapter when she's like o we have tennis cause we had a talk where you said you liked it. They had a statement not a talk and she straight up said she didn't care about tennis. Yuni said trust me and Nanase uses that to justify her telling Yuki because she's being more trusting like Yuni wanted. Those are only a couple examples, but you get it and that's how she approaches everything. Like someone who contractually can never be wrong.

It makes sense, though, given where that happens in the timeline of things, and the whole of the chapter that transpires before it.

Up to chapter 14 (and beyond, but since this is the point in question), Nanase has a pattern of self-interest that doesn't take Yuni's wants and needs into account. They're all small, individual incidents, but they build up to a picture of Nanase being truly neglectful and inconsiderate, and yet Yuni "goes along with" what Nanase wants because she wants the relationship to work. And one of the big ones that Nanase had stated was keeping their relationship a secret.
Then Yuni finds out that Nanase told someone, and instead of giving an actual reason as to why she did when it was her desire to keep everything hidden, she turns it around with "well do you want to just tell everyone, then?" That's not validating Yuni's concern—to whit, why it was so important to Nanase that Yuni keep it all under wraps at school, but it was no big deal to tell "bestie Yuki" when it was on Nanase's terms? Nanase just throws out a solution that she thinks will make Yuni happy, and makes no effort to understand why Yuni's upset in the first place.

And yes—by that point, Yuni was falling deeper and deeper in with Fuuko, and being shown the exact attention and focus she lacked with Nanase that pushed her toward cheating in the first place. Plus, my read on her sudden fear of everyone finding out, is because she'd just been accused of cheating by Yuki—and that more people knowing about their relationship now, meant more people might find out about her and Fuuko, too.
There's self-preservation and self-interest on Yuni's part in that moment, but it does still involve Nanase only saying "let's tell poeple" because she's not understanding (nor taking the time to understand) why Yuni was upset about Yuki knowing.
I don't know I like to think part of her didn't want to rub salt in the wound for Fuuko already at that point.

Fuuko just wants to chosen.

Her family always thought nothing of her, the neighbor girl she had a crush on just sidestepped her because, well, she's heterosexual, Mashiro, whom she thought she was important to, turned out to only want someone to torture. Fuuko has always been lonely and unloved.

Then she met Yuni, who was venting about loneliness and frustration, and she took her chance. I think at this point, Fuuko genuinely likes Yuni and wants to protect her. Which is why she's now distancing herself from Yuni, so that Mashiro leaves her alone. Meanwhile Yuni is seriously wavering. She doesn't want to admit it, but she cares a lot about Fuuko and is slowly falling for her, and Nanase's behavior is still pissing her off, even after she said she'd change.

Maybe we're headed toward a confrontation between Yuni/Mashiro and between Yuki/Nanase and I'm here to see the blood on the walls :02:
At this point it remains on said but the context seems clear to me Yuni has accepted she's in love with Fuuko.
