Yeah, while I can understand the allure, I don't see why you'd do something like that when you have sites like Mangadex to serve as a host. They even provide message boards (like this one) for commentary and critique.

I guess that, maybe, if MD made the group pages so that the groups could customize them a bit more, then groups would feel as pressing of a need to have a website to operate? But I guess that most of those types are the ones who are actively trying to make money instead of just finance raw acquisitions and operational overhead.
