This is a peculiar manga for me. It's kinda generic, and the art is not particularly amazing either, yet I somehow jump in the second I see the new chapter. I'm a sucker for revenge plots, sure, but it doesn't even have that (yet). Still, it has some combination of generic tropes that mix just the right way for me, I suppose.

I'm on the same boat. It's fairly generic but what keeps me hooked is the fact that the MC, unlike most reincarnated MC, actually feels genuinely uncomfortable about his situation and actively wants to return the body at his own expense. It makes it interesting enough to look past most of the tropes.

Don't you men how?

Why is easy, someone (likely the mustached noble in the last panel before he wakes up) decided he had served his purpose and decided to get rid of MC before he became a threat to the nobles power base. The standard is they only ever saw him as a weapon, and are now discarding him before he gets turned on them.

How, likely they lured him into a trap before he knew they had it out for him, or you know the old drug him and strip his gear while he is asleep.

Yeah as far as we've been led to believe he commited the unlife from the bullying and then MC reincarnated into his body. So I suspect he'll never be able to "give" the body back.

As far as my thoughts on this series the only thing going for it is MC's mindset of giving the body back everything else though is pretty poorly written and tropey for the sake of ticking the trope off the list.
