Or maybe that kid she's with. Hopefully not too badly. Momiji is about to get a first-hand look at how dangerous and important her sister's job is.
I feel like she's been too damn close before. Or at least well drilled in what to do. There's also a small possibility that she too is an awakened. Major paramilitary organizations generally don't let small children wander their halls freely...

You mean the manga/LN that MC stole almost every power that supposed to go to his childhood girl friend (the hero) in original timeline and in result make the girl become weaker than what she supposed to be and have the audacity to claim that HE will protect her but in reality he(most of the time) left her alone to face the cruel fact that she aren't powerful enough to do her duty as a hero like people expected her to do?

If that is manga/LN that you were talking about then yes, I have read it and I hate MC so much and I can't bare to watch the Hero suffering to the point that I can't read it anymore.

Uhh, what? Childhood girl friend?
The "hero" is not the MC's childhood friend and is willing to go the reverse harem route and force the main girl to be raped by others.

Edit: Whoops, was thinking about the another villager manga.

From afar, they looked like a young married couple with their child.

Like a young married couple with their kid.
More like siblings with their younger sister

also, does anyone know what that arrow on page 14 is supposed to be pointing to? people they know?
Hmm, I thought it was the Wind Guard party, but now that you mention it, I think Wind Guard has 4 members, and yet the arrow is pointing at 5 people, so now I'm not sure. Maybe they're classmates from school?
I thought that was the delinquent trio. The two people in front of them were just a random couple.

Wait so last chapter we saw that she know him since he was a kid but this chapter it seems like she doesn't remember him. Was her memory erased?

He didn't steal her powers, he just over protected her which in turn made her weaker... like, certain moments of her suffering was meant to make her stronger.... but he (with good intentions) protected her from those bad moments and only later learned it actually sabotaged her.

My real issue with that series is that the author could easily have just made them a couple but doesn't for no real reason.

Like, the series is so focused on him and her wanting to support each other that it'd be better if they were a couple... but author wants to drag out romance for no real reason...
