I liked the opening page with all of the characters and the story so far...in case you happened to forget. I still want to know where the heck Edelweiss is in all of this....the only one in the other world who cared for him.

I mean, it was a given that our hero here would be the one to defeat the golem especially because of the fact that it is made out of a material from the dungeons, which I can't remember if it was ever mentioned but are they actually connected to the other world he came from? I know that he was able to get to the Demon Lord's castle through that rift when he was with Karen, but are the dungeons also connected? Or is this a thing where there are more than 2 universes overlapping.

And I love the smug faces on the two female S-rankers that were there when he beat the golem. That was like their proud friend moment and it was great. I love how even Karen after everything still views him in a positive light and seems to be considering him a friend.

Oh and that other kid who was going to blows with the golem has to be the other individual who got in on a recommendation, but even though they weren't blown back or lose their footing you could see they were having issues with that golem since their arms kept getting cut up and bleeding. Our guy Takeru is/was the only one outside of the S-ranks that could go up against that golem without any issue at all.

The two ladies have already seen Takeru in action, so they were well aware of his capabilities.

IIRC, the hunter association does maintain a few gates, like the one at Ouran academy and these gates, for now, connect to the world that Yamato was summoned to.

To be honest, I haven't liked the last chapters of this manga, since we started this absurd "oh you have to register so the association will not hunt you down" bullshit.

But this chapter's end was fun. Slap destruction too! I wonder which of these people participating in the exam are going to be recurring and7or important characters.
