That was a very interesting perspective from Takeru about being relied on considering everything that happened in the other world to him. We know he relied on Edelweiss who also relied on him and a few others, but one would think he is still pretty guarded deep down after his unfair death in the other world.

Our MC here definitely getting a harem going, but he won't even notice it because if anything Edelweiss is the only one on his mind and in his heart...he most likely won't see any of the other girls as potential love interests.

Im glad that the manga shows the princess Edelweiss occasionally as he thinks about her and his time in the other world
Too often I feel isekai Don't dwell on the emotional impact characters should experience leaving their world behind, or in reverse isekai the time they would have spent with people there too.
Though it's often purposefully set up that the character was alone specifically to remove any attachment and focus on the knowledge they bring or the power gained or kept in the transition.
But often enough the ones that do mention they had family and friends may only get a few early reminiscing moments and then never be thought of again, or at least not in an emotionally introspective way.
Glad this mangaka gets that.
