Surprise Edelweiss appearance. Any chapter that even shows a small glimpse of her is bound to be good. Really hope she reappears properly or more is explained.
3 v 1 didn't end as quickly as I expected.

Thanks for the TL

super agreed when Edelweiss appears it is a good chapter. He learned a lot from her in the other world and he is starting to open himself back up based on what her and the other knight taught him there. I really am waiting for her to show back up properly as well. I just hope that she will not be evil as a result of him being killed in her world, but we really know nothing.

Those girls really do anything to support him.

Yep. Those girls are there to support him and support him well. They want to be acknowledged as individuals who can stand with him and not be a hindrance to him. Sakura proved they can do that with this fight so he can’t argue that he needs to be alone to do things. I think it all worked out well and the girls get to be with him. Win-win.

Yeah, you wish. "Our victory" my ass....

While it makes sense that too much power can scare people (like the old man said), going from "we'll win the fight" to "he's holding back, so if we make him attack just once we'll win morally" it's just plain stupid.

They literally know that they can't win, their objective was just to make him attack or be a bit more serious on them to show him that they can help him and be by his side

Yeah, but Takeru didn't go all out.
In a fight where he has to really go all out, what can they do? When Takeru just "played" a bit with them
That's what I find kinda hard to believe. Just because they were (or she was) able to force Takeru on the offensive from passively defending, it doesn't mean they'll be able to help him when shit hits the fan.
A true victory, imo, would have been if, even for just half a second, they were able to push Takueru to go all out

Pretty sure "a bit more serious" doesn't equal "go all out"
and "A true victory, imo", except your opinion doesn't matter, in this specific case mind you, her objective was victory or to get him to attack back and they achieved that. So in accordance to her opinion (which is what mattered) they won even in defeat because he had to switch to offense.

Again, yes. I'm not shitting on it. I'm just expressing my opinion as a reader, what I got from reading the chapter. And it's true, my opinion doesn't matter, because I'm not the editor and the story is already written lol.
About the difference between "a bit more serious" and "go all out", it's because I was responding to the comment stating "to show they can help him". Again in my opinion as a reader that is enjoying the story so far, it doesn't feel possible.
The demons from the other world are/seem too strong. If even Takeru was struggling, they have 0 chances. I'd have preferred them realizing they need to train like the hell rather than "setting" this pseudo-goal...but, yeah, it's just my opinion lol

I think it's also worth noting that the entire caveat was all in her head, too. It's not something that's official, just something they wanted to show to Takeru during the fight.

And I think he at least got the message instinctively.

of course he didn't go all out but he at least stopped holding too much back and that's what they wanted, they showed that they can at least help or stand their grounds to not be an hindrance to him

It's at least a little funny to me that in essence they summoned Takeru to kill the Demon King but if he ever appears strong enough to actually do that everyone would be afraid of him so he needs to not show too much power. I guess people's belief in the hero's ability to beat the Demon King stems from them being the hero and not from whether they actually could do that.

I kinda agree that the demons are basically shown to be too strong at this point. Takeru even in his untrained body is way stronger than all of his friends. If Takeru is struggling dealing with the demon's group then his friends are basically useless. If his friends can force Takeru to take things a bit seriously then they're basically screwed. Takeru might not be able strong enough to beat the Demon Queen and he definitely cannot beat his original body right now unless they're going the route of the other Takeru isn't skilled enough to actually use Takeru's body.
