Takeru Summoned to Isekai around year 2000. He spent 3 years in there.
Monster first appearance in Japan is around 2010 and Takeru back to Japan in year 2040.

Even if they aren't, it's quite obvious that the family is inspired heavily by Sengoku Period Uesugi. They went to Niigata, also known as Echigo, the home province of Uesugi during the Sengoku War. Kenshin is known as the avatar of Bishamonten, the God of War, the same god that the girl keep calling to fight. Also the buddhist influence, amongst all others things that being referenced.
