Okay, this one's a bit forced. He's a blacksmith, and a candidate for marrying into the family of the land's feudal lord. Him registering as an adventurer is a bit of a stretch, and it feels like it's a plot for two main reasons: Because it's what's done in stories with this type of fantasy setting, and because the author wanted to have one of those "girl gets hit on by rowdy adventurers" scenes.
If he ends up having to fight these idiots. I'm gonna be a bit peeved. This is supposed to be a story about blacksmithing and happy (not yet) married life, not one of the many fantasy action-adventure stories out there. This isn't a combat oriented MC with a cheat power, it's a craftsman MC with hard work and effort.

Also the girl Persistently following him in that Get-up is too forced too.
Like anyone with common sense would know that going out in that will only attract unwanted attention.

I like how this fantasy world has real world military style combat knives (and the fact that a blacksmith said that you could use them as a throwing knife 🙄)

Also, why tf is the lord making his decision after a single day of sales when this guy is literally a brand new, unknown player in the marketplace?

Is there a higher currency denomination than gold? Cause if not 30,000 gold feels like an absurd price. I feel like no thought was given at all to the monetary system if a mere f rank adventurer has 10k gold on them

I'm going to go ahead and assume it's a 'Yen' situation, where the main currency is basically measured out in their version of pennies or something and one large coin is 2,000 "Yen", which is how 5 large coins was 10,000 gold. Either that or translation error, nothing else makes sense.
