fuck me if i'm wrong but swords with pommel don't really need nails. i don't remember it well but i think western smiths commonly uses glue than nails and do a threaded pommel to secure the grips from slipping.

yeah that is very clear. I also don't know if it is a translation error or not but 30,000 to 50,000 good pieces sounds way too high a price or is gold so abundant in this world? Hell 3k or 5k gold is still too much. Either the author is Chinese or they gave no actual thought to the monetary system

I'd assume a translator error because surely it's not 50k gold, because if it is then damn inflation did a number to these guys.
