Thanks for the TL, amazing work.

Now the manga though, wow I have read so pretty trashy stories before and this sits in the same camp as the others. Like the plot feels like it is going both too fast and too slow, while the series is early (and on hiatus) none of the characters are really interesting or really likeable. Also the whole reason for his firing is so weird, like I agree he was being harassed and by real world standards it was terrible what was happening to him. But in comparison to other manga it's just nothing really, yeah they bad mouthed him and isolated him from everyone else (which is still a terrible thing to do in real life, like actual asshole behavior) but that was the extent. He was still respected by his superiors, till he set someone on fire (understandable for reacting that was but not justified in make it so the fire couldn't be put out by anyone but himself). Then there was the final straw of someone abusing their power to interigate someone but bro says naw I'd rather lose my job. Like my guy join the friend you defend to be a mercenary with him being a teacher just feels a bit off for what he was doing.

Anyway rant over the only good thing I see about the series is the art and the TL, like it's really good and all props to the team

Pissed off dragons tend to come back for revenge, also he could be tried for hunting the dragon without having the proper adventurer level/license. You know that bureaucratic bullshit that makes people get drunk with power for no reason.

There's that but I have a suspicion it had more to do with him being the MC's friend and with low standing he'd be a good/convenient target to use to hurt the MC, probably had spies out looking for any opening that he could use to get to him.
