Logic in this is kinda meh, at multiple points during the story he mentions both starving to death and at the same time food is not necessary to survive. Suspension of Disbelieve goes poof.

Really enjoying this series, a dark and REALISTIC dungeon exploration based series.

Thankful to the scanlation team but only wish the chapters were of a higher quality, this series deserves high quality releases

edit: Immortal Updates Scan group's releases are actually pretty good, better than the group that did the first ~10 chapters

People seem to think a series is realistic and mature just because it acts edgy and is willing to kill people off. I can't suspend disbelief for an internally inconsistent setting and an mc who is completely incapable of comprehending the benefits of basic socializing even after thousands of loops.

For those thinking about starting this series - please ignore the illogical complaints of the previous comments.

They conflate their inability to understand the MC's actions to with inconsistent writing of characters. This is an excellent, well-written series, with strong world-building and clear internal 'rules' for the dungeon. The numerous positive review for this series on MangaUpdates is testament to that.

Without giving any spoilers (unlike the above comments), it is 100% natural for someone who has been betrayed by strangers numerous times to be highly suspicious and not wanting to associate with them - particularly when he has belief in own knowledge and abilities. It perfectly rational to weight the risk of betrayal against any contributions others may bring to a group, and decide the risk is not worth taking.

Try reading for yourself before coming to any conclusions, it is well worth it.

Previous comments? Or previous comment? Because the only other comment specifically points out the inconsistency in writing about starvation, while that clearly doesn’t seem to be a factor .

Idk why they talk about starvation, because at no point in story it was a problem, hunger was mentioned like 2 times, as an instinct of humans to get food, surviving without eating is possible in this system.

Overall, after 78 chapters story is fine, albeit few wierd point (offscrining at start of season 2, and season 2 as a whole, nothing really changed).

There is no 'inconsistency' on starvation at all - only a failure to read closely by some readers. It is clearly explained in the story.

(very mild spoilers)

It's stated that only by getting to the end of first stage does one becomes a 'player', when they get their item, active and passive abilities, etc. That is the point that which they transcend being a regular human, and no longer need food.

It is also stated that many people don't manage to clear the first level and so don't become 'players' - remaining 'regular' humans with normal human needs for food and thus face starvation.

Like this Manhwa, dark fantasy, fast paced, full of action, strong minded MC, not OP MC, and every fight is a struggle of life and death... I'm turning a blind eye to the downsides because this manhwa is like a freshener in a dark way..

Great series for never ending fight and gore. Like the action literally never end. There's no bulshit drama either. And enjoy the sexy girls while they last for several chapters lol.

He starves in the first room, before he does the "awakening".

Too bad we can't delete the first comment, made by a total idiot. The starving thing is only in the first room during previous regressions before he figures out how to escape it (not really a spoiler since it's literally stated in the first chapter after the prologue).

It's a pretty good read. Doesn't cater to all the usual tropes. People are indignant about side characters being killed off, but don't seem to realize that the author isn't obligated to cater to the mainstream.

It does get monotonous after a while though. All the battles are high tension and there are zero breaks, so I got up to chapter 100 before stopping from fatigue.

Ugh, I'm guessing reaper were the ones on this? It really sucks that many manhwa I had bookmarked and looking forward to are just getting wiped from this site
