@Sumatose Liliana was the "villainess" who bullied the heroine. Heroine turned it around and caused her own engagement to be annulled and let Liliana have the crown prince instead. Apparently Liliana wasn't as good as the heroine but she's been trying her best to be the crown princess. I don't remember much else, I think they said at one point that she felt pressured to stop or something?

It's basically a care of 'careful what you wish for'. Liliana was the villainess that got what she wanted, but realized not too long after that she's not actually cut out for it. She's honestly trying (more than a lot of these isekai otome villainesses can say), but she's not anywhere near as prepared as Rose is for it, knows it, and hates herself for it- hence the constant prayer and feeling like she's being pulled every which way.
