I think it being a reincarnation would be thematically relevant, but who knows for now. Either way, the most valid baby ever after ending.

What's interesting is how the scene reminded me of a flashback in chapter 31 when the gems commented on how cute baby Phos was and Sensei said they're a kind child, the same things that the rocks said here.
