Is it just me, or our MC is, uhh... acting as a weakling? I mean, I'm sorry if I missunderstood something, and I know that he's trying his best to hide his identity and strength, but in situations like these, shouldn't he just fight?

@Majchster It's because of that inquisitor. If he gets exposed as an earthling, everyone he ever got close to becomes a target. That includes his old party, his new workplace, Artis, etc.. Everyone who knew him but didn't report him to the church will become traitors, regardless of their ignorance of his true identity.

he seems to have a forced by plot ptsd where he is paranoid about getting the monster treatment by being discovered as a earthling or worse getting people that know he s a earthling but don t care killed by the church or even other people

@majchster Obviously, looking cool and buff is more important than staying alive. I mean, Artis is a trap, he can't possibly be a bad person, right?

After all, it's not like 3 chapters ago MC was explained how earthlings would be betrayed either by their comrades, or their comrades' comrades, regardless of what they actually do.

JB's translations aren't even as good as Leviatan's. Once they put theirs out, I go back to read it and theirs is almost always better than JBs. No surprise. JB has so many series, the quality of their work suffers, across the board. Now they're sniping? Pitiful.

@Garlyle was something on reddit today about one of the JB members threatening Leviatan to drop I'm Destined For Greatness! or they/he/she would pursue legal actions. Cant find the post it seems to have been removed but think Leviatan talked about it on their discord

@Garlyle Agree. JB's work seem to be sub-par compared to Leviathan's. I read 'returner's magic should be special' exclusively on Lev and 'Solo Leveling' here instead of the ones JB put out.
