@mommunism Think hard enough and there's really multiple answers to almost any riddle. It's only your subjective view to decide if a riddle is good or not based on how good the true answer is, but there really tends to be a right answer that makes the most sense once revealed.
The bloody Riddle of the Sphinx, one of the most famous riddles in history, can have multiple answers if you dig deep enough. 4 legs in the morning, 2 in the day, 3 in the evening? The answer is a "person". Yet it can be any number of bipedal animals who rely on tail or additional arm support in old age. Or an animal that has evolved from 4 legs, to be nominally bipedal, to having a single useful pair of limbs plus a tail (such as an aquatic animal). Or it can be more allegorical, referring to the evolution of governance. Or it can refer to action, like a man who swims in freestyle/breaststroke/butterfly in turn. Or it can be really literal, a dog or cat gets into an accident, has it's hind legs cut off, and replaced by a roller prosthetic. Can even happen on the same day, making the morning, day and evening completely literal.
All of it is much more far-fetched that the more straightforward and profound answer of "person". Even if you place restrictions, you can never truly eliminate all over possible answers. Funny, Haku and Co. started coming up with similarly far-fetched and convoluted answers.
Anyway, somehow I think you're the one who didn't read the whole thread. So many people have told you so many points of view to address this. Yet you can only accept one perspective. A riddle must only have one possible answer, or one plausible answer. The irony of your statement is that you're actually the one who can't take anyone disagreeing with you. May I add, that also applies to your idea that some riddles have a proper correct answer....because you have determined yourself there is no other possible answer. You are the ultimate barometer. Really?
That stick up your ass has gone so far, you can't even accept that a joke in the manga mocks people like you. Going as far as to say it doesn't count against you. When it's been placed there to mock Haku. That much is obvious, but if you're not convinced, you can wait on the next chapter. Have you never been mocked before? You're that perfect huh.
