Sounds like he's put on guard duty. Well, it's a good opportunity to interact with others and get some reputation points, as he planned."Rei and Set count as cheating."
I thought Rei lied about the item box having a signature recognition to get people to give up on trying to take it forcefully but I may be mistaken. Regardless, I can't imagine there being many that could currently take it from Rei even if we didn't include Set's power.Remember that Rei Item box can’t be used by others due to magical signature recognition. So stealing the ring itself would be useless, then if the person possessing the item box is dead, it would become useless item.
The only way I can think of is that Rei giving the item box to other person while changing its signature recognition to the person. I don’t expect anyone to be stupid enough to actually stole it (but that did happen a lot)
It is correct, only Rei and his magic signature can use it. Which means theoretically, so can Set. Although I do remember the time he drunk with the Muscle girl and Dwarf and got black out drunk and decided to booby trap the Item Box because of how vulnerable he felt after. So if the do manage to steal it from him, not only is it useless in other's hands but they would have to survive whatever trap he put on it.I thought Rei lied about the item box having a signature recognition to get people to give up on trying to take it forcefully but I may be mistaken. Regardless, I can't imagine there being many that could currently take it from Rei even if we didn't include Set's power.
The rock of arrogance. It's one all teenage noble boys seem to be under at least onceInteresting.... It's only been a short while since Rei flatlined an enemy army, publicly flatlined a Noble who thought he could pull this kind of stunt against Rei, and gained formal recognition by the local Lord for all those accomplishments, besides the nickname.
Under what rock has the boy been hiding?
As someone who has read a gorillion chapters of the novel they Nobles tend tonoooo... why is this series now starting with split chapters after all this time.. D:
and once again we see nobles being ignorant of the MC. it's a well established trait in this world, but one would expect nobles learning about an uprising adventurer and making sure to behave well, moreso since he has established connections with other nobles. yet they still demand actions like this one, or maybe it's just the authors prefered motion to setup plots.
the noble boy is playing bad cop, it just he never got briefed about rei. guild isnt stupid enough to use complete idiot noble as examiner(moreover Rei is one of the test taker) but in society when they reach B rank and above those stupid noble is everywhere then the need to raise awareness for themnoooo... why is this series now starting with split chapters after all this time..
