Manhwa freak rebranded as utoon I think, then they just get mass uploaded by whoever has permissions, so they end up under other groups

I am the uploader and I didn't know of any other TL's. I was just reading this and was disgusted by the censoring when I reached ManhwaFreak so I tried to fix it for everyone else that came through after me (and I tried fixing some of the dialogue at the same time).

Wanwha Freak though in the most recent uploads they changed their name to UToon.

Basically, if it showed even cleavage, it got wiped.
While I don't advocate reading any [manhwatrash / UTOON / whatever name they're using] scans, I can't actively remember any titles, so I can only say 'pick one' and you'll see it.
First I noticed was in one of those abandoned young lord mangas where they turned the hot advisor chick into a uniboob.

Look at page 14 of chapter 88 (both my chapter and theirs). Not only did they censor cleavage, but as I was cleaning, I noticed that they were also removing "shine" from the thighs and similar strange stuff. All of this is really obvious on chapter 91.

NGL, I will likely be adding your scans to my block list. If you really wanted to help decensor manwatrash's abominations, offer your services to the active translators who have been working on the series for the better part of a decade.

While your efforts came from the right place, it only further hurts the team that has steadily uploaded scans for years.

based on the discussion here, it sounds like they got the raw from a Chinese group. Chinese groups does tend to do weird censoring like that and worse. i have seen multiple pages removed because a few frames were sex scene. like sex scene in normal manga where nothing is shown anyway.

But you are sniping. According to what you said, you mean well, but the end result is an act of sniping: Project Time's last upload of Legend was only half a month ago, and--as of this reply--you've still uploaded three chapters after this first one.

If you really mean well, you can apply your efforts to the multiple manga (I can give you a list) left to rot in oblivion by the various money-hungry groups such as GDS and LH Scans or by other groups who've dropped them for no known reason instead of trying to push Project Time out of the Legend picture--where they've been for years.

TBH I keep the monkey unblocked because it's more fun to read the comments, than the "work". ManwhaFreak/UToon/However they wanna rename themselves definitely deserves the block though.

While your concerns are valid, you are speaking from a position of ignorance. I have talked to them and told them that I would be deleting my chapters once they upload their own. They said I didn't have to delete them but I told them I would anyways. Not only that, but they asked me if I wanted to clean for them and I am currently thinking it over but am unsure because I am pretty busy with work and don't know if I could commit myself reliably.

I am not a translator, I have very little Japanese knowledge. The corrections I made were all just changes to English sentences, very simple Japanese phrases that I understood, or more complex translations done with the help of ChatGPT. I have neither the capability or desire to start translating full series. I essentially just removed some shitty censors.

And I will no longer be responding to anyone complaining about "sniping". You don't know what is happening behind the scenes (see reply to Miserys_End). Go complain on twitter or something idk
