i thought Rei would use his fire magic and make that earth dome into an earth oven. then again, he also wouldn't be able to identify the enemy commander. the end results still basically the same tho

This is the better translation, but there are still big mistakes...
I don't speak (read) Japanese, but the translation makes no sense on the beginning of page 18 and the end of page 23...

Let me guess, the correct translation would be something like this:
He was not killed by the enemy. He died when a magic item handed to us by the ministry of magic went berserk.
(Surprisingly, ManhwaFreak got this one right. )

This makes no sense. The referred events seem to be in random chronological order, and the general does not know that the MC is the one, who should be in reality credited with killing the enemy commander.

Basically the magic item kept sucking magic to repair, but the damage was just too big. It's not that it went haywire, it just that his attacks were too danm broken xD
