Wait how is the old man steal here? Another layer of death?! The ghosts of ghosts? A place the people who died twice can see the ghosts but can't be seen by them!?

wait i don't get the ending... so
he wasn't actually dead, but in a coma the entire time? and after he ended up drinking from the spring, he awoke sometime afterwards without his memories?! It seems like his wife then died and is now following him too, but I don't get why the old man is back after he supposedly disappeared after his year. Is there just a second layer of ghosts? lol...

Okay after spoiling myself and reading from the start

its just sad.

she died and met him.

he drank the water and forgot everything. but he said hon at the end. does that mean he didnt drink it after all?

or did he just awake from his coma and his wife can see him but he cant' see her. what an ending. my heart

and ya the old man was jesus/ god i guess hence he looked up and asked " is this what you wanted"

thinking it about it more if he awoke from his coma why wasn't it at the home he was being held in?

is it left up to the readers interpretation?

Wow this was just... bad wtf happened did it get axed or something?
No I dont think it's axed. I think it's one of those open ended stories.

Regarding meeting the wife.
Maybe he did drink from the spring, but like the spectacled old guy said, you have to drink a lot to forget all memories. This is shown in the case of the office worker, always being seen near the spring.
He may have drank once or twice, and then the wifey came up, atleast he recognised her.

Regarding whether he woke up from coma or still in limbo:
He's definitely in limbo, as they were talking about his wife's fading health, and when the wife appears shes barefoot, check the intial chapters why thats important.

Regarding the old man:
Definitely an angel, or maybe some Korean legend, maybe someone could confirm if theres some folktale of a son missing his father's last moments and cursed for eternity.

All in all a bittersweet story, definitely not bad.
