I lost interest in this manga a long time ago, too many loopholes and it's really fucking difficult to do a time-traveling story without fucking it up. Shoulda stuck to just fucking in island tbh.

So if he ends up on the island before his evident first time, but Imaise is there... and back in ch1 she says that she arrived four days ago (same as him), that would mean he just confessed to an Imaise in that four day gap, whereupon she'll meet the MC again a few days later acting totally different with no evident recollection of her? Further compounded by how they obviously know each other to some degree here (he's running around shouting her name; she's probably responding with the 'da' in 'Yamada' audible) but she feels the need to reintroduce herself in their ch1 meeting.

Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana, and time travel is a pretzel...

For those wondering, it doesn't make sense that Yamada never got off the island as he has a ton of stuff with him. Most likely they've arrived at a time in the past before they arrived on the island for the first time.

And isn't it a bit sad that the older Yamada is taking the unrequited love girl back to his time? She's going to appear 10 years after she went missing...

Up until now I could follow the story quite well, but now I'm lost. They went further back in time, when the island didn't sink. Maybe even before they arrived for the first time from their own perspective. And this Imase is his time syncronated Imase (Imase#2), with whom he did his last time jump, as they both confessed. So, we are going for another loop, with both of them hiding from themselves, with the exception of older Yamada (Yamada#old), as he knows they are there? So maybe this Yamada#2 was that Yamada that appeared to Yamada#1 with that mask and mocked him.

He also gets both girls. He bangs Imase and after there relationship gets sour, he just fetches girlfriend #2 (aka best girl) freshly from the refrigerator. Aren't timeloops nifty? Best thing even though he is mid 20 he gets a 16y girlfriend to screw with. Somebody call the cops.

Seriously...either this is a paradox...or alternate timelines are created. If it's the former, then future Yamada should cease to be. Also...was the identity of the skull found in the beginning ever revealed?
