@jak maybe because there hasn’t been a warrant out for his arrest or something? I dunno. Honestly, it’s probably just to keep the character in the manga. He can’t be a part of the story if he’s in jail.

While I think the idea of Nona - that being a character that will call out Evans on his act - is a pretty good one and could add a lot to the comedy going on, I think having it be from a character with no character is kind of lame. One idea I like better would go something like "Quaid found this new book that teaches how to read body language so he can try and pick up women and now he points out when Evans is lying so Evans has to convince Quaid that the body language is unreliable by being clever with how he answers questions"
